Single hooks on salmon spoons

 Where do you purchase the correct size single hooks for spoons such as NK  28's and NK  Mags. Also what size hooks would you recommend, and, is hook color an issue ?

I do not believe the salmon prefer colors of hooks., but you want sharp ones.I use 2/0 stainess steel 3-5 x Mustad Siwash salmon hooks on the #28 size lures and 3/0's on magnum sizes. Feel the points and sharpen as needed....they should catch on your thumb skin or thumbnail (carefully done). The Mustads are very sharp out of the box so you shouldn't need to mess with them. They do not bend like other non -staineless hooks.

I use owner , and hook colour depending I would just stick with black silver or red and if your In bluffs ,Pickering ,Ajax or maybe Whitby there's tightline

Well....1 for Mustad...1 for Owner...Personally I like Gammy's.  3/0 for NK 28's.
