I orginally posted this question and have been doing it on a smaller body of water I fish that supposedly holds some nice rainbow and brown trout. No trout yet but the smallmouth bass seem to love this set up. Tried it off 3 colors of lead yesterday in 18 fow on LO and caught a 3 pound smallie.
