Casting on the Larry (Muskies)

I'm new to this forum but most posts which talk about the St. Lawrence muskies are usually trolling stories. Does anyone cast for muskies.? I'm heading up to the Larry the end of September for a week. Not much of a troller I'm more of a caster so any advice would be greatly appreciated..

Hi Up-trim -

 

I know a couple guys that do well casting up there.  I plan on trying it myself later this year.  I've never done it before up there (only pike fishing) so I'll let you know what I learn but won't be till fall time anyways.

Thanks Chad, I will be there the last week in September. Hopefully I can figure it out in a week. I will look for the usual haunts, Current breaks, Deep weed edges etc. I may even try trolling some Berger King rigs. A little out of my comfort zone but I'll do what I have to do.
