Not to rain on your parade but probably less than 10#. The fish looks to be about 25-28" long if your hand is about 3.5-4" wide. It doesn't look too girthy, and most steelhead around 30" are around 10# if they aren't too wide.

Still a beauty of a fish sir! Do yourself a favor - measure the width of your hand exactly, then calculate the length of the fish in the photo. 10# for 30", roughly one pound per inch after that.

Thanks, we thought it was around 12# but without a scale who knows. It actually had pretty good girth on him but pictures are hard to judge. Still really happy.

This one was 11 lb 4 oz on the certified derby scale Saturday when we weighed it in.  It was in 11th when it hit the leaderboard, is currently in 17th and will be off the board in a day or two,  Don't worry about not weighing it in, even if it was over 10 it wouldn't have held up.

Please tell me you mounted that steelhead Nick.  If so, lets see some pics of the mount!  Awesome fish.

To this day I regret not mounting it, but a couple of years earlier we got my 20lb steelie mounted.

The mount came out terrible though. Not even close to the size/look of the fish I caught. I should have gotten hers mounted to replace my poor mount.

Nick you should have her fish replicated.

Nick, what ever you do don't show the mount, that has to be one of the nicest steelhead I have seen with that color. That's a fish! Oh yea Theresa's fish is a stud as well.
