Huge smallmouth

Although I posted this photo on the walleye forum I thought it deserve a post on the bass forum. It was caught while walleye fishing on the Lake in 45 fow on a Trolls To Rapala off a board. Only a shade over 22" but a tremendous girth. It weigh 7.3 Lb.on our scale an hour after it was caught.

I think we are starting to see some mammoth smallies on the same course as Erie. That is a slob of a fish too bad it was a day late of the pillar point derby otherwise that would of made you a cool 1k.
