blown transducer

Hopefully someone can help me . I have a lowrance lcx 104c , I was told that you can't get this transducer anymore . I need 50/200 with temp. and it has a black connector. I'm looking at the airmar p66 will this connect into my unit ?

I think the best advice would be to talk with the Airmar tech dude...rather than taking your chances ordering one only to find that it won't do the job. They are good folks there  who know their stuff with a quality product to boot.

We have 2 of these. They were original for a lcx15mt that was a piece of junk from the day we bought it. GPS works great to this day but the fishfinder was garbage. We have two as they said it was likely that our problem was most likely the transducer and not the unit itself.

They no longer make the 50/200.  You can get a 200 for the unit.  My buddy called lowrance and they hooked him up.

A 200Mhz transducer is almost worthless for salmon and lake trout trolling.You need a 50 or 80 if you want to see the fish.

Burt Goodnough's in Sandy has a bunch of Lowrance transducers some new, some old. Might be worht a call
