We had some buddies from college come up to fish for the weekend and the weather could not have been better!  Heard rumors of high temps down deep last Friday in Sodus, so wasn't sure what the game plan was going to be on Saturday morning.  We started off in 100 ft of water and had an amazing screen, but as promised real warm water to the bottom. We worked from 120 ft to 200 ft from 5-9:30am hoping the plentiful marks on our screen would suddenly start hitting.  However, it was not to be, so we picked up and headed north.  Shutting down in about 500ft of water, it was not long before we hooked up with our fish about a 5 lb steelhead. Then a double with a small king and a steely.  We took hits all the way out to 650ft with kings and steelhead coming on riggers, wire and copper.  For 5 hrs we hammered the fish going 20 for 30 with 15 kings, 4 steelhead, and 1 coho (first good coho of year for us).

Sunday was more of the same, we went straight to our waypoints in about 620 ft of water and after about a half hour it was steady action.  At about noon we decided to point her at the chute and fish till they stopped biting.  Honestly that never happened, we caught fish fairly steady the whole way and ended the day with a very spunky 26 lb king that almost spooled us requiring us to pull our rods and go back to get him.  We finished the day 13 for 25 with 7 kings, 5 steelhead, and a gorgeous 11 lb brown.  The guys couldn't have had a better fishing experience.

Thanks guys. I haven't posted much since I joined the site a couple months ago, but am looking forward to sharing more in the future. This site helps a lot of people and has given us great info on where to start many times.
