Catfish Creek

Hello,

 

I am new the the forum, but appreciate all the available info on here. I plan on fishing out of Catfish Creek on the lake this weekend and was wondering how the bite was? I am seeing that a lot of fish are being caught in the river already which concerns me a little. I am new the fishing the lake but will be going out with someone that for the most part knows what he is doing. Anyone have any tips for the Catfish creek area for the weekend and early next week? Its a long drive for me and I just want to make sure we catch a few. I am not sure if there is a private message system in the forum for those who don't want to give out any secrets, but I appreciate any advice in advance!

A good bet would be to go straight out first thing, and get in that 100-120 fow over in front of the Big Salmon, and see what kind of screen you have.

I fished by the plant today in 150 fow, got limit in 4 hours . 107 to 115 on riggers. 350 on dipseys.flashers and flies.
