Olcott 8/25

Went east of Olcott to get away from the traffic towards somerset in hopes of getting a brown program going. Worked 40-120 without a single brown trout bite. 3 shaker kings and a nice 7 pound domestic. The domestic had 28 gobies in its stomach, just crazy. Just couldn't find the browns. Didn't mark much in the way of fish or bait. Left me puzzled.

I worked 50-80 FOW and had no luck with the browns. I did very well just a few days ago. Oh well.

[King Slammin]

I did one 23# king and lost a very nice brown at the back of the boat in 75 FOW. In a way I'm glad that brown shook off because I'm not in either derby and it looked pretty stocky.
