FWIW, they have been hammering those little Michigan Stinger spoons the last two weeks.  I am running them on cheaters 14 feet back, maybe 2-3 feet above the mainline release.  You might just try running one right behind the ball on a mainline.  Cross lock snap and 8# leader.  Thermocline is still right around 30 feet and you want to park that spoon right there or just above a foot or so.  Copper with some orange/red on it.  There is one in the pictue if you can see it.

Well after the slow morning i was hoping i could do something tonight. Tried the east side and not many marks. Went to the west and weeds are terrible, but we had 1 miss and 1 22" eye

Tracy and I went 2-4 tonight one drop that cut us off and a miss. Lake temp was 79 when we got in at 9. Tried harnesses a bunch and switched to cranks and sped up and 4 hits in 20 minutes. 24 and a 26.

Good going Justin. I hit the geese yesterday and stopped at Salmon River for an hour but very little fish moving there. What a difference from last week. Windy forecast for the lake this week but I haven't forgotten you.

I can almost taste those fish from here....nothing like walleyes in the pan....nice going! Les

 

P.S. I spent the weekend entertaining family ....no fishing.

Glad we were staying in a cabin last night! That was the most amzing thunder and lightning ive ever seen. Took my first morning off all summer and slept in with tracy. Might be a good day to go to gander and bass pro. We will get out soon enough Kevin, and Les we still gotta get out for eyes or trout....been a bit slow for me but I think I figured something out yesterday...time will tell
