My wife made a comment to me the other day "Looks like the water when we went on our cruise". I guess I didn't really take any time to consider this isn't a typical algae bloom. Kind of neat color not so neat for the fish.

The stuff we get on Erie is nasty and smells, it gets so thick in some places you feel like your driving through carpet

Here is a picture of my friends canal on Chautauqua Lake from last week. Nasty smelling blue/ green algae. It's a yearly problem at Chautauqua.
