Fished from 8 til 1 today. Water was 71 when i got there and a bit warmer when i left. Had 5 lookers before 10am,2 of which nipped at the bait. Dead after that. I'd have left if they would have stopped taunting me.that's a muskie coming right at me. Saw this 4 times today. At 1pm i ran into a dumb one. not big but pretty. This one was in 6fow off the point near the marina. I was feeling good about the barbless hook falling off in the net again and then ouch!poor thing had a hook in it's mouth.that's the only bait that worked today. Other side is nickle. Back is sprayed gold with black bars painted on.nice and easy on 5and20 has booze free gas now.

Until it was right on me. If i had the net in my hand i could have scooped it. A cool experience. I hit send by mistake because my thumb is really infected and swelled up.
