Sandy ponds duck hunting

Hey guys,

 

Going to be out quite a bit this fall hitting the tribs, thinking of packing the canoe & shot gun as well.

Do the Sandy ponds area get pounded hard in early season??. I know most of our areas on Champlain get hit pretty hard during the early season.

 

Ever any divers on North Sandy later in the season, or do you have to hunt main lake??

 

Thanks guys...not looking for detailed info...just wondering if its worth dragging the dekes and such along!

yes divers are there when time is right

always worth having a gun along

 they get pounded. after the first weekend the divers will see the dekes

and go sit in 3 feet of water all day. tough hunting.
