Chaumont

Last weekend I pulled my first burbot through the ice at Chaumont Bay. The perch have cooled off considerably. Not sure why but I hope it heats back up. Pulled a 9.1 lb pike for the Clayton derby but didn't make the top 10 with it. A 18.4 lb pike won it but I dont know where it was caught. Will be going out tonight for walleye on Chaumont. Last past two times evening/night fishing for walleyes was a bust but I have been giving it a shot b/c a select few have been getting them around dusk.

When you guys go out pickup your empty propane tanks, I found ten of them yesterday where the guys were walleye fishing.

I am absolutly disgusted with the guys out there littering, every trip is something new fo me to pick up.
