Haven't been out since 9/6. I hope to get out Wed and/or Thurs if the winds cooperate. Will post if anything is going on.

I will be heading out tomorrow am Dave.  Not really sure where to start, so if anyone has any reports near the bay or Genny, it would be much appreciated.

I will let you know if we have any success.

Before the first light, I would check out the mouth of Genny by running the glow in dark J plugs off the boards and riggers.

As the sun rise, time to move out deeper and fish your graph by placing the spin docs and a-tom-mik flies off your riggers. Change speeds often if bites are not happening.

Let us know how you do tomorrow.

Tight lines.

Thanks Pike hunter.  I know we won't be out before first light (not by choice), so it may be best just to start in 100 fow and troll west from the bay.  Hopefully we will mark some and adjust.  I was told to fish the marks rather than temp now.

sounds like a good plan brian and yes fish the marks

We're probably gonna target the browns. I need some fish for the smoker. Make some passes in front of the Bay and head East. That hasn't been to productive this year with all the temp changes and wind. Will post from the boat.

Well no luck for us. Fished the mouth of the genny for 2.5 hours this morning. No takers on plugs or NKs. About 6 other boats circling and I did not see any fish caught. Did get there until 8am. I think I am done for the season. Good luck if you get out.

Well, looking for browns didn't turn out so good. Fished east out of bay starting in 40ft looking for some temp breaks. Eased out to 90 and found temp drop off to 54 down 75. Had 2 hits on 245ft wire with SD & fly. Still no hookups. Turned around headed west and same wire took 3 lakers and 75 rigger took one to. 450 copper fired and landed nice 9 lb rainbow on a BFuller spoon. Rigger took 2 more hits and nobody home. Gonna give it a shot tomorrow.
