Figured someone would post something this week, but I guess I will. The Big-O and Erie lost another good one last Friday as Captain John Visich of Release Charters at the Oak lost his battle with cancer.

Think about him this Spring when that first board line goes "Twang".... RELEASE!!!

I did notice the post about Johns' passing on the Oak site. Sorry to hear about that. He will be missed by plenty.

I didn't know John but have always seen "Release" on the water when we were out there. I plan on taping up some "screwface" spoons and running them in his honor as I understand he was the originator of that pattern.
