Got the boat launched early, only to find we had a bad ground someplace, so spent some time checking connections, etc. Later got some lines down, but still no electronics, felt like 1975 all over again!  After about an hour of trolling blind inside, I changed out a ground wire and we had our electronics again.  Fished out to 400, marking bait around 90, but temps were too high, so set a course back in.  Got to 265 and noticed we had 42 degrees at 100 down, so prepared for action.  Took a hit on a Spin/Fly, but pulled the hook after peeling about 50 feet.  Didn't land any, but got a good vid of a Salmon chasing our other downrigger presentation.

It's amazing to see how many times they can do a follow up and not strike. Makes you wonder on those days when you don't move a rod whether the same thing is happening...

Great footage, thanks for sharing.

Neat look at the chase routine...it does make you wonder how much really goes on down there when you think nothing is there and also the possible "nobody homes" mistaken grabs they may make without getting hold of the fly (e.g. the line or the Spinny etc.) Thanks for sharing.

NICE VIDEO,WONDER IF THERE ARE OTHER MANUFACTORS MAKING THE CAMERA.wOULD BE NICE IF YOU COULD BEAM UP THE VIDEO THROUGH A TRANSDUCER AND SAVE THE CABLE AND HAVE LESSER DRAG.

Cool video!  I was out there in the evening.  Headed west out of the shoot.  Dropped lines at 150 and trolled out to 235 past Maxwell.  Marked a couple and some small bait pods 40-50 ft down.  Ended up skunked.  Probably the last trip on the big lake till spring.  Was a beautiful blue-bird day on the water~anyways!!

Ever since watching these videos I keep tying my leaders to the fly longer and longer. I think the fly is moving too much and the fish just "miss" it sometimes and give up.
