I finally purchased a Bass Boat... it was a tough decission to let go of my mulity speicies boat . After riding in a buddies boat at 70 MPH... I knew i was sunk... and had to have one

It's 2004 Ranger 185VS with a 2011 175 HP  E/TECH The motor only has 89 hours on it, and has 2 years remaining on the warranty

Nice rig!!

I see a lot of the Rangers and Bass boats that have long lubes on either side of the main engine...  What are those for?

Those are Power Poles, ot Minnkota Talons, they are a shallow water anchors, The y really work well. I plan on geting one... but want to change my electronics first.

I had a 175SVS. I should have never sold it, but I fell in love with a 520, and went to Tennessee to buy it. Both of those Rangers were great boats!
