Beat up the perch this weekend on Chaumont. The trick was steering away from any crowds. Did 9 walleyes with a 10 and 9 lbers being the largest. A couple in the 8-7 lb range.

hey there. im just wondering where abouts most of the people go out on the ice on chmt. bay and also how far out do you need to go or is it a follow the tracks thing? me and two buddies are going this weekend to try it out for the first time. we fished blind sodius this weekend and it was great. 13" perch, 9-11" blue gill and 10-12" crappie. filled a bucket, oyeah i even caught 1 bullhead :shock: ......but anyways, any info you could give would be much appreciated. t.y.
