Just wanted to say hey.  We bought a place in NE PA and I'm hoping to become more familiar with the salmonoid fishing in the big lakes of NY.  I just got my non-res NY licence and will be bringing up my 1802 trophy this spring.  I'm a total duffer when it comes to fishing.  I've done some fly fishing in the streams here in PA and use the boat primarily on our anual vacations to the Va and NC coasts.  My success is usually limited to luck.  I hope now that I'm retired and will have more time that I can improve my chances with some knowledge.  My trolling of this board indicates there is pleanty here. Thanks in advance for picking your brains.

FYI,  we own a place in New Milford Township just over the border from Binghamton.  Will be starting out trying to figure out Cayuga.  Thanks for all the welcomes and have great holidays!
