At the Lewiston fish cleaning station the charter guys were using big fillet knifes that cut through the fish very easily, easier than i ever have. Can someone tell me were i could check these out, im sure you guys use some good knife when cleaning your clients fish.

Yup, I'm guessing they must have been Forschners. I have the 12" curved blade Forschner and it slices a fillet off of a big ole king like $hit through a goose.

Doug are you in Rochester? If so go to Rochester Store Fixture on 707 North Street. They have them there. I bought one there for work. I don't remember what the cost was. It's actually called a "Cimeter" :shock: . If you give me a shout during the day on my cell (585-354-7700) I'll find out if they have one and the price for you. You can save on the shipping then :)

Thanks for all the help, i dont ever want to filet another fish without one. Not as pricey as i excpected either.
