Thanks.

I dont think it's been officially announced yet!  Considering that the 1st Tightline tournament is June 14th and west Pro-ams are usually before I'm guessing May 31-June 1st for Niagara. June 7th and 8th Orleans.

Greg is correct on the dates although nothing official has been announced. These are the dates the committee has talked about.

Looks like Niagara to have 2 events to mark their 30th Anniversary. 1st event 5/24-5/25 and second event 5/31-6/1---thats the talk today--

Are these confirmed dates?  Any details or know where to get more information?

Niagara’s Lake Ontario Pro-Am Salmon Tournament Celebrates 30 Years with Second Event!

Niagara’s Lake Ontario Pro-Am Salmon Tournament Celebrates 30 Years with Second Event!

The Lake Ontario Pro-Am Salmon Team Tournament will be celebrating a milestone in 2014 when the Niagara County event – based out of the ports of Wilson and Olcott – will hold its 30th Anniversary contest May 31-June 1, 2014. For three decades, this fishing competition has been pitting teams of anglers against one another in one of the biggest tests of skill on the Great Lakes. Scoring is based on 10 points per fish and a point per pound over two days of fishing, using special tournament minimum lengths and restrictions over two days of fishing.

To help reel in this overall celebration and with the recent announcement that Orleans County will NOT be holding a Pro-Am event in 2014, Niagara tournament organizers are now announcing that they will be expanding the tournament to include a second weekend for 2014 – by offering a two day event May 24-25. All the rules will be the same (as last year) in both tournaments; each will be treated as independent events. The West Challenge Cup will be based on point totals for both Niagara events combined. To help celebrate the anniversary, over $130,000 will be up for grabs based on 50 boat fields for each division and each event. In addition, the Recreational Open Division will also be an option for amateur anglers looking to compete for each day of the tournament as separate events, based on boat participation for cash and prizes. As always, each of these Niagara events will be 100 percent payback as far as the prize structure is concerned. Mark your calendars and make plans for the biggest tournament events of 2014!

More will be posted soon …
