Saw this snowy Owl land and sit in a tree roadside today. Looked into it and experts are saying this year is the biggest migration in twenty years. Thought I'd share this with everyone, maybe more people will see them this year too. The pic isn't the best, zoomed with cell wish I had a good camera with me.

That Hedwig ???   Nice.  Had one in a tree out in back of the old house over 50 yrs ago.   Nice picture with a phone !!

There was one lurking around ridge rd in Greece this year. I never saw him personally but had the pic sent to me.

Ironically in the shadows of Giants stadium and the NYC skyline is a tremendous habitat for all types of birds of prey. Hawks owls falcons and eagles are regular residents. <br />

I have observed quite a few snowey owls. Way cool bird. Great picture<br />

They were attracted by the football team that stinks up the inside the stadium!
