Last year was my first go at it on Lake O as well. I went out of Mexico and Oswego. I did head for the pack out of both ports but for the most part stayed on the outskirts. When I did get into the pack it wasent choas so that was good. the only fish  I catch tho was well outside the pack. there is something to be said about that.

I find that you need to be one of the first to be I the spot. Once there is a crowd the fish seem to drop to the bottom and get a bad case of lock jaw.<br />
