update Meyers Point lift project

had a chance meeting with a owner of a fabricating shop today and I was amazed that he had build and installed two handicap lifts. we talked for 45 min. and I left feeling very good about his design. he has promised me that he will draw up the design concept so that I can present it to the people at Meyers Point. I will be able to explain how it works and how it will be installed after he gets the prints to me. the pricing was not discussed but I'm sure it will be reasonable. basic concept will be a swing style gantry with 12 volt crane, lifting the individual with a sling, this will allow the use of smaller boats that do not have the room to move a wheelchair out of the way to return the lift to it's start position. any and all suggestions, ideas or thought are appreciated .
