Copy paste this..seen this on a different site. I always like using my old tags up north end of sept. Looks like that will end . Fishing licenses good for a year will be nice for some.

No more super sportsmen or sportsmen licenses?  I just added it up and the super sportsmen with doe tags will cost 1$ less than before.  That sucks.  Should be less with all the decreases in prices!

This is the exact reason why I bought myself and my son lifetime back before they changed it 4yrs ago!!

My supersportsmans last year was 88. + 10 for dmps total $ 98.00

Next year will be $97.00 I will save a dollar!!! Yeah baby!!

For non residents to have what I had this year cost someone $685 next year $240

So NYS tax payers will save 1% while non residents will have a 65% savings..( that was quick math)

Soon u will need a fishing license and nys fishing stamp..just so people with lifetime license will half to buy something...

Thanks for the link. I like the new full year/365 days from when you purchase your license. Gives me more options for fishing the fall instead of having to purchase a new license every Oct. 1

My friend - you took the words right out of my mouth........what a shame (I'm sure folks will make the "out of state residents will add money to the NY economy" argument when they come here to hunt, but that money isn't guaranteed to go back into the outdoor fund.......)

 

Man, I'm really having a hard time with this state these days.
