Fished out in the deeper water Southend of lake. Not much happending very very slow. Friends I was with caught afew bass on tip-ups and few real nice gills. Overall just a nice day to enjoy some fellowship.

How is the ice holding up? Hopefully it will survive today's and tomorrow's warm weather.

Any issues at the shore line or the cracks?

We were there yesterday afternoon until just after 6 PM at the south end and there is an inch or so of water on much of the ice with some cracking. The near shore ice in front of the ramp is compromised. We went off to the north a bit and it was OK. The temp was still over 50 degrees last night when we left so I'm not sure what today will bring.....with the creeks running and potential gas pockets (esp at north end) possibly undercutting the ice especially near shore.

Yeah, I think I will definitely stay off until Saturday.
