My first Laker of the year !

Fished Canadice today from 9-2. Iced my 1st Laker of the year. Had another one on for about 5min. 4 or 5 other bites. Ice was about 4in. out deep with some open spots. Shoreline is getting pretty shot. Hopefully it will tighten back up this weekend.

Hey as a newbie to lake trout and being close enough to Canadice and actually living in Canandaigua, what jigs do you use for them and how about line strength? I'm not asking for your secret color jig or anything like that, just what weight?
