cabin fever...chaumont bay

Looking to head up there for a weekend. Never ice fished before up there. (Never ice fish alot. )Any advice would be great.

Ice thickness? Sled or wheeler? Cheap place to stay? Better to bring a hut?

Go right out of public launch at Chamount?
