Fishing in ice tourney on sodus in a few weeks have done some reading and such. Any advice on we're to catch a pike and panfish would be helpful.

In return anyone who comes down to walleye fish erie in ny in summer can pm me anytime and I will do my best. We have benn fishing out of the Cattaragus creek for perch with little success, but walking our on Erie is a cool experience.

You should probably do some fishing there before the tourney. Other guys on this site may be fishing also and if someone got on here and told you all the hots spots it wouldn't be fair to the guys that did their homework.

We encourage all anglers to pre-fish our events so that they have an idea where the fish are (or aren't). If you look around on this site and others you can get a feel for where people are hitting fish. This year the fishing on Sodus has been spotty, as it appears there is a lot of baitfish in the bay and the fish haven't been on the bite yet.
