Reducing the price for a quick sale from $1,200 to $900/OBO

I am probably leaving for a few months and I would like to get this out of the house before I leave so I don't have to deal with it this spring/summer. Plus, the cash would be nice to have for my trip.

Located just south of Watertown, New York... minutes from Interstate 81.

Selling a great Kicker Motor!! 2 stroke 9.9 Mercury Mariner Outboard boat motor with a quick silver throttle controls; electric start (no tiller). This is a pre-mix; NON-oil injected. Unknown year but I believe it's mid-1990's. Like new; maybe 40 hours of use. Been in storage a long time after buying it from a family member. This motor looks brand new other then a few scratches on the shaft and on the hood. The engine is truly immaculate.

I have not done a 'compression' test; as I have been asked twice now to do so. I am not a motor head by any means and prefer not to test anything. If you wish to check it out, do a compression test, whatever, feel free. If you want to split the cost of having a mechanic take a look at it; we can arrange that too.

I'd rather own a Harley instead therefore she is going towards my Harley down payment. I will consider a trade for a Harley (plus cash on my part; obviously).
