Any and all that can make it. I personally find these meetings interesting.

 

Monday, March 3, 2014: 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at the Carlson Auditorium, in the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science building (76-1125) on the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) campus, Rochester, Monroe County. The meeting is co-hosted by RIT and the Monroe County Fishery Advisory Board.

I will be there. If they say the alewive population is down they are full of bs. I can't wait to see the numbers.

Well worth the time to stick around Zack. We need more guys to come support. The dec has complained about the lack of participation in the past.

I'll be there. I'm coming from Webster if anyone want a lift. We need a huge crowd at these meetings.

is  there  anything  they have  in print   I could look up ?

 

Usually after their 3 meetings along the South shore there is something published.

One question - it seems like the fish caught per angler hour scale is off by a factor of 10 in Figure 1. In the Chinook graph, it looks like about 0.07 fish per angler hour (on a Charter Boat mind you) and this seems like it should be more like 0.7 fish per angler hour.

 

Anyone have any insight on this?

Chris - Basically what that data broke down to was on average charter boats caught 8.XX fish per trip while rec anglers caught 2.XX. They also stated that percentage wise charter boats were only about a 1/3 to a 1/4 of the boats surveyed. So, their study consisted of much more rec anglers than charters.
