Fleas & Dipsy line

I  have 3o # big game on for dipsy divers,can I add 50 ft or so to make for more bites or replace it all ? IN augest on big o beside changing line % flipping off fleas is there a great tool to use? Yhanks for any Help   Hope everybody has a safe % great season coming.
