Anything "long & slender."  Sharks are good, torpedoes are good.  Round ball is about the worst.  The best shape for least blowback is streamlined to cut through the water.  Also watch the size of your cable.  There's a big difference between the 150 Lb and the 200 Lb.

Was just looking at the sharks on a-tom-mik's website. Wondered if the torpedoes would work just as well. Them sharks r sure pretty...lol..but pricey. May just go with the torpedoes

16 lb torpedo diver have less blowback than any rigger weight I've ever seen.  Toms 15.5 lb Torpedos are great as well.

I use torpedoes and love them!

I use the stingers and like them. I have a 18' lund and being able to tune them helps get them spread out.

Pancakes can be a nightmare if the fin get bent.

I have run both the torpedos and the sharks, and all else being equal weight wise, I have to give the nod to the sharks. The prices on the sharks have come down considerably on their website and are right in the same ballpark price wise as some of the others.
