Fished the morning on LOTI and ended up with 27 nice perch and 3 cappies. Largest of each was 12" but many of the perch were over 10". Looks lke things are starting to heat up. Lots of ice and many people out there enjoying a resonably decent day.

Hit Loti again today and my buddy and I each got about 25 nice pech, 4 perch and a couple bullheads.

Kevin did you make it down to mud bay or chamount this weekend . I tried hyde and payne friday wit not much luck.i went for gills.

I fished Hyde for gills also but DEC checked us today and said they were getting big walleyes way out from Mud Bay near Grenedier. Also hear Chamount has been good.

Mud bay has over 5' of slush under 2 1/2' of ice tough fishing unless you have 9" pvc pipe about 7' long to get under the slush

Yep, thats why I tried Ogdensburg yesterday. This snow may mess things up for the remainder of walleye season. Really snowing and blowing up here now.

Fished LOTI this morning. Ice is slush covered and has 6" puddles of water. The ramp is deeply rutted and I wouldn't be surprised is some vehicles had a difficult time getting off the ice. (I took my 4 wheeler)

Fishing was slow and I kept 13 perch. Rain and snow with wind this morning. More snow tonight and cold temperatures the next couple days should tighten things up. Still lots of ice once you gain access.
