I posted this question a year or two ago....still looking....

What do you guys wear on the cold, wet spring days on LO on your feet.   I have a couple of great

summer shoes, breathable, non-skid....but aren't a good cold wet shoe.

Been looking at these....Shimano Evair Deck boots....

Anyone have experience with those?

Might want to look at the waterproof version of the Merrell"s with the vibram soles. They are pricey and look like walking/running shoes but they are pretty warm actually don't slip, and are water proof in the rain etc. relatively light weight and incredibly comfortable. Not cheap though about $130 or so.

Thanks for the replies so far....

SK8man....I have a white floor, and typically dark soles aren't a good thing.....any problems

with that?

I just wear sneakers with thick hunting socks, if they get wet I just change to another pair at the end of the day.  Other than that they are always warm but breathable. Sometimes I wear hip waders all day because where I go out they generally don't have the docks in yet.

None that I've ever noticed on my bright white non-skid Whaler floor :) The Vibram sole is very hard/dense unlike a lot of softer rubber shoes.

I prefer the softer no mark rubber over the harder because of the lack of grip on the "non-skid" floors.  Once you get a little slim on the floors they get slippery.
