is watkins glen open?

I'm hoping to fish the south end of seneca this weekend, but watkins is more than 90 minutes each way for me.

I'd hate to get there and have it be frozen.

Does anyone know if it's open?

Yup the launch by the hotel is open we have been working on a house overlooking the lake. The lake looked perfect today saw two boats doing the usual loops by salt plant. I tried to walk off the job but my buddy drove. Soon soon.

The village marina launch by the hotel is open but with this snow storm coming  you  might not be able to launch or get out as they don't plow it. I will post a report after the storm passes.

I am unfamiliar with the village marina launch near the hotel. Will someone let me know where that is?

Given the mention of that launch, am i correct in presuming that the launch on boat launch road off of 414 (in the creek/river) is not open?

Andre, the canal is or was frozen up to the bridge as of Sunday. Its breaking IP and this rain will help wash out the canal.

There was still ice today in the canal.the lake was brutal looking this evening there also was at least ten inches of snow on Watkins ... good luck . I will be driving by each day will let ya know
