Slide diver weights

For the life of me I can't find info on google about this: I bought the 2oz & 4oz weight packs. I unsrewed the back plate and took out the original 3.2oz weight, then went to put in the new 4oz weight and it doesn't fit. I didnt think I needed the new 7oz backer plate for the 4oz weight. Am I having a blonde moment?

Had the same problem with mine.  The 4 oz weights fit like shi^.  I had a few sets, one of them I was able to pound in with a hammer.  It won't be coming out ever.  Another is so mishapen it won't work unless I grind it down.

i bought the kit that has the heavier weight and the mag ring it fit perfect.

yes thats the one.

those are a lot better, but silver fox is talking about just the lead insert, no new baseplate with these.

 yeah i figured that out. i was talking about the 7 oz weight, plate and mag ring. it is all in a kit i got on ebay for about $9
