Any word on walleye in oswego? If I remember correctly this is the time of year they appear in the river.

I could be wrong, but seems to me we fished them in April years ago. But again, I could be wrong.

Gonna check season now. I believe lake Ontario has different regulations than the state wide.

Yep, I was wrong. Closed March 15. Opens first sat in May. Dont know how I got April in my mind, but it is closed.

Maybe you were thinking Lake Erie? It's been the 1st Saturday in May as long as I can remember.

Hope the catching is better than last year.

I watched 3 guys in a drift boat from my window in the hotel. It was windy, cold as heel and they weren't catching a thing.

The eye bite was hard all over the lake last year.  I was up north near the St. Lawrence and only boated 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.
