Line for Browns

Hey guys what line do you all use for browns. Can I use my reels with 20lb mono with a leader if so what size leader? Floro or mono

I use 10lb fluorocarbon all the way its nice to have on the boards a bit less streach helps hook ups

I run 30 lbs. PowerPro braid all year round just change leaders.  I run 8'  10lbs. fluorocarbon leader.

 

 

The 30lbs. PowerPro doubles as my salmon setup.

Go ahead and run the 20lb. Just leader down to 6-12lb flouro depending on water clarity. 6-12' of it should be sufficient.
