All we need now is a 40 MPH 5-6 hour north or south wind...............bye bye ice!

Yes Art we're all keeping our fingers crossed....and the wind may also help cut down on potential flooding as it sure wicks away some moisture.

Hey Art, you may want to think about that date. Avon anglers will be having their perch derby on keuka that day if this is is not gone real soon.

apb - We did check dates to avoid that and Avon Anglers Facebook page shows the Perch Jumbos on April 5th.

Yes, the 5th is the date they want to have it but the 19th is their backup date incase the ice has not melted. As of Friday afternoon there was still plenty of ice. Not sure??? Just trying to be of help!!!

I believe it's official Avon Anglers Keuka Lake perch derby has been rescheduled for April 19th.

I know of at least 5 of the Top Gun Derby Teams would love to fish your derby but are already planning on Keuka that day.

Originally Avon anglers were going to decide by April 1st or 2nd but the facebook page did state it has been rescheduled today(April 19).  Bummer cause people would enjoy fishing them both.  Decisions, decisions!

With the lakes behind schedule as they are maybe the Canandaigua derby could be held the 26th?!?!
