Mexico Bay Ice Report

Went to the camp on Sandy Pond yesterday to check it out.  Sandy pond completely frozen, no access to the lake. 

 

Mexico Launch:  Little Salmon river is open to the lake. State launch is blocked at the entrance gate with a large pile of snow plowed there.  Exit gate is open and it is possible to get in that way.  No docks in but ramp if free of ice.  Small ice floating down river and on the lake.  Looked like nice colored water.

 Docks around Mikes marina have about a foot of ice, it will be a week or two before any boats are able to be put in there.

I have a  camp at groman shores. any sign of dock damage in your area. I am hoping my docks  surrived the flood and the ice. looking at the weekend of the 25 th  to wet a line.

I am at the entrance to the bay where Skinner and Linsey creek converge. A few of us there leave our docks in all year. Nobody in that area has any damage. I don't have any info from your area.

I am on bass channel witch has a west look. last year my docks took a major hit  hoping this year will be better. thanks for the info.  rw
