We went out the chute and pointed her west we started setting rods in 9' of water it didn't take long and we had or first Brown of the season we fished the 9' to 18' water range we had steady action all morning the water temp ranged from 36.5 to 39 degrees are hottest plug was a bright blue and green rapala we also did well with storm firetiger and the green nuke. next trip in two weeks sure did feel good to be back on the boat after such a long winter

Nice job, very jealous out here in the Black Hills!!  My first brownie trip will be the weekend after Easter, to Lake Michigan.  I think I can rule out any accidental Atlantics, there! :(     :yes:
