Fished Sodus today and went 11 for 15 on browns and one steelhead. Several nice fish including one that had to be pushing 14-15lbs. Looked like a spring king. Fished from 12-18FOW, all stickbaits on boards. JR thunderstick, smithwicks. Found 38 degree water that was cloudy, not muddy. Fish seemed to be concentrated in that water. No fish in the dirty water. Had a couple triples and doubles that kept us busy with just two of us fishing. Good way to start the season off.... Mark,

Which ramp did you use out of sodus?

Coast Guard-No Dock

Way to go Mark. I would like to try it this week, but not sure if I can do it without a dock!

You think the other one (state launch/Margaretta Rd.) is useable?

The Bay is iced over so there is no other launch options...

Great Fish Mark, we fished 2 summer ago with Sam.  Weather warm in Florida. Hope to see you this summer, we can go fishing again with Sam and Gary. Keep posting these great catches, you have the fishing men in Florida drooling.

Are there any docks in close by where you could pick up a buddy after he dumped you in and parked the truck?
