So the walleye bug has gotten so bad that we are heading to port Clinton tomorrow morning. Has anyone ever been over there this time of year? hoping to troll around fort perry.

Fish F can, G can, E Can or D can. Run deep husky jerk, Deep rouges or deep renowsky's slow. .8-1.3 make alot of s turns. Launch at Catawba the "can" are 4-12 miles out depending on which one you want to fish, F can been good, fish have been in the dirtier water.

I was out there last year.  Its almost as close to "catching fish in a barrel" as it gets.  The Spring eyes out there are stacked like cord wood.  Which is why I to am heading out to Port Clinton this Monday to fish all week.      I bet you will be planning more trips out there.  The weather can be tricky just like Ontario so play it safe it is a great a lake.  I have a 21 foot Sylvan pro fisherman and plan on watching the winds, it can get rough with a North or heavy West wind.  East is not bad along with a South wind.  Good Luck to yah.

Well only fished Friday. went 9 for 10 on our 1st trip to erie. Had a great time. Have to throw a shout out to craig at erie outfitters one of the nicest tackle guys Ive ever done business with! Ill post a few pics later today.

Craig is a hell of a guy we stop up to see several times a year. a lot of stuff crammed into a small space......LOL
