found a great deal on a older sea nymph in great shape. 17.5ft, riggers planer board mast. perfect boat for spring fishing as well as hiting walleyes on smaller lakes. it has a 1979 55 horse johnson that he said gives him a little trouble starting in the spring but runs great after that and the lower unit "maybe" could be changed in the future. he changes the lower unit oil twice a year just to protect the lower unit. the oil never has the creamy look to it and no shavings in the oil but he feels it could be a problem in the future.

my question is that if you guys heard this exact same thing would you run???? even though the boat is exactly what you want.

The 55 hp is a bit underpowered, but if the price is right go for it... you can always easily repower or service an outboard, just factor it into what you're willing to pay for the boat.

it's about gone now. If you are interested in that boat make sure you have it checked prior. It's good for piece of mind. You don't want to get the boat and then look at in your driveway instead of fishing

looks great but i think i would look kind of funny jigging for walleyes off that bad boy. looking for something smaller for walleyes on h lake and oneida. still mostly fish off my buddys islander on the big pond.
