last year I bought a new Yamaha T9.9XPA , 25 shaft electric all remote from Towne Marine in Bloomsburg Pa for $2700. Was the best price I found anywhere. Kevin at Towne Marine will deal. May pay to buy new.

Check out the different marina's websites around the lake, you'd be suprised whats out there. I picked up a 2003 125 Merc from Burt Goodnoughs last year, and a 8hp 4 stroke Merc from Arney's last month. Saved a bunch of $$ over brand new in both cases.

There is a Johnson 9.9 4 stroke on Rochester Craigslist. Doesn't state shaft length but it is electric start. Looking at pics looks to be short but probably worth a call
