Apparently a boat being towed by a good Samaritan flipped and capsized in Ohio last weekend. Reportedly it had the tow line attached to a cleat rather than the bow hook. Also the boats occupants did not wear their lifejackets and had to be saved. All went well for the occupants as they saved by nearby boats and taken for hypothermia care. It was suggested they should have boarded the towing boat to lessen the tow line load. Life jacket wearing at this time of year could have helped.

Life jackets will shorten recovery efforts so family members can have benefits started.
