Does anyone have suggestions for the easiest and fastest way to remove bottom paint from hull without destroying gel coat. Started sanding yesterday and the rate it's going I won't be done til next May.

Soda blasting is the best way to go.  I've had it done a couple of times in the past and it does the least amount of damage to the gel coat and gets the paint off quickly.

Broke down and bought a soda blaster this morning will post results. Picked up 150 lbs of soda do you think that enough for a 24' hull?

Wound using 300 lbs to get about 15 layers of paint off. Had to rent a tow behind compressor to get job done. Fortunately found no surprises which is why I undertook job put a gel coat layer on in dark blue to match rest of boat. Would definitely hire a job like this out in the future if I were to do againpost-152890-13992544770168_thumb.jpgbottom did come out great though.
