First time around Oswego

New on the forum

We want to go for a couple days next week around Oswego for brown fishing

Is there a motel that you recommend and close to the boat launch?

go a bit more west  to Fair Haven  try Little Sodus Inn   or Screwy  Louies  to stay

lots of them very close to the launch - Best Western and Quality Inn right on the east side of the river only a mile or so from Wrights Landing. Many more, just google for them.

Fishing is GOOD now too

Stay in Oswego,  if you get a blow off at least you can still fish the harbor, which is very productine this time of year.

No knock on Screwy Louies...  I stay there myself when im in FH working on my boat.  Branden is a class act.

Look up Rainbow Trout Lodge also. Its a couple minutes from Wright's. His weekends are probably booked though.

chinook marina in fair haven has some nice cabins and also a boat launch with docks for you to use while you stay there.
